Intermediate Forest, Lithuania August English Very dynamic Jivamukti Dana Sertel September Philippa v. Heyden

Forest Oasis

Forest Oasis

Intermediate ✺ 27 August- 3 September 2026 ✺ Šiaurys, Lithuania

An enchanted House with private Lake access. This Retreat is an invitation to slow down, to listen deeply, and to return to what is essential.

Surrounded by ancient trees, soft moss, and the rhythm of nature, we’ll gather as a community to move, breathe, and reconnect. Between sessions, swim in the lake, walk among the trees, enjoy the sauna, or simply rest in stillness. We offer you a week of deep practice, shared meals, forest walks, and simple joys.

Mornings will open with dynamic Jivamukti Yoga, strong, soulful, and alive. Expect to sweat, to sing, to move with rhythm and heart. Our classes are infused with music, chanting, and philosophy, a full exploration of body, mind, and spirit.
Afternoons invite you to slow down. Through workshops we’ll explore themes that anchor us, the elements, the chakras, or ancient teachings that are relevant to our daily life. These sessions are about depth, curiosity, and play.
Evenings will gather us in Satsang, quiet moments of chanting, meditation, and reflection. A time to connect through sound, silence, and the forest’s hum around us.

We meet life with ease. We move and grow together with kindness, curiosity, and lightness.
Practicing in community and nature opens space for stillness, joy, and belonging. Remember your playful side by exploring nature.

If this speaks to you, come as you are—for solitude or connection, for silence or laughter.

We are Dana & Philippa! Each time we teach a retreat together, we are also asked to show up for each other and for the retreat group and each time we are even more surprised by the amount of love, joy and connection we get to experience.

September Magic

September Magic

Intermediate ✺ 11.- 16. September 2025 ✺
La Viñuela, Andalusia, Spain

September is a time of transition, bridging the vibrancy of summer with the serenity of autumn. It’s a month for reflection, gratitude, and realignment. With three-quarters of the year behind us, it’s the perfect time to pause and reset.

This week, we’ll immerse ourselves in the magic of this transformative time, away from daily distractions, in a secluded mountain location filled with stillness and beauty. Whether you seek solitude or connection with like-minded Yogis, the experience is yours to shape.

During the retreat, you’ll be free to be yourself. Together, we’ll explore the joy of yoga practice with ease and fun. Yoga means union—with yourself and with nature—and I look forward to deepening this connection with you in the magical surroundings of September.

Mornings will begin with meditation, pranayama, and dynamic Jivamukti Yoga, featuring asana, chanting, dharma, and uplifting music. Prior experience with Jivamukti Yoga, Vinyasa, or Ashtanga is recommended.

Afternoons will focus on quieter practices—workshops, asana labs, chanting, and restorative yoga to maintain balance.

Some evenings, we’ll gather for satsang—a space for chanting, sharing, or simply being together.

Philippa Heyden

Advanced Certified Jivamukti Yoga Teacher

In early 2015, Philippa completed her Teacher Training at the magical Govardhan Eco Village in India, under the guidance of her teachers Sharon Gannon, David Life, Lady Ruth, and Jules Febre, with Yogeswari as her mentor.

What excites Philippa about Jivamukti Yoga is the unique and transformative combination of intense asana practice, meditation, chanting, diverse music styles, pranayama, and the deep awareness of both the internal and external environments. She finds that Jivamukti Yoga provides a holistic approach to practice, integrating body, mind, and spirit while fostering a profound connection to the world around us. For her, the practice is not just a physical discipline but a way of life that encourages mindfulness, compassion, and self-awareness.

Endless Summer

Endless Summer

Intermediate ✺ 21- 27 September ✺ Casa Erica, Málaga, Spain

Let´s dive together into a feeling of “endless summer”, immersing into the practice with a welcoming, kind and fun group.

The new moon marks the starting point of our retreat. New moon stands for new beginnings. A positive outlook on what is to come for us individually and collectively. A spark of inspiration for what we want to create.

Removed from the daily hustle of our everyday lives, we gather as complete human beings in interaction with one another. Come for time alone or come for time with others – your needs are welcome.

If you feel called to join us, we will embark on this journey together.

This retreat is truly uplifting, joyful and full of moments of deep connection.

The practice

The morning asana classes will be the full package – a vigorous practice, fun and sweaty with a soundtrack that will make you want to dance, chanting which softens the heart and dharma (philosophy talk) that sparks new ideas for the spiritual path.

We recommend some experience with Jivamukti Yoga or Vinyasa/Ashtanga Yoga (you can join online classes or come to the studio in Berlin or elsewhere).

The afternoon practice is usually held in workshop style where we dive deeper into a topic. Some asana related, some focussing on a chakra or on a teaching. In any case we go deep here.

Some evenings are spent with Satsang (chanting or meditation together and some philosophy) where you get to connect or simply be inspired by the teachings.

Level Intermediate: You should have a regular asana practice and expect dynamic, challenging classes.

What we love most about it are the pastel sunsets, the wild beaches and the laid back Andalusian mentality. Also our dog Alpha and cat Hanuman live here. More
