Our volunteers help us to keep things going at YSC and at the same time they enjoy being a guest themselves.


What is your responsabilites?

You will prepare the pre-yoga breakfast, clean up after the brunch. You will prepare smoothies and help us to keep everything in order. Your daily working time is about 4  hours.

You will like it here

If you are an easy going person which is able to work independently and sees which work has to be done. Experience in a restaurant or similar is of advantage.

We have around 14 guests every week and we have a great community feeling. Usually, people like to gather and get to know each other. That does not mean that you have to spend all your time with others. If you are someone who needs a lot of time for yourself you should wonder if this is the right thing for you.

Whats the deal?

As a participant of the Retreat you can visit all the yoga classes, live in Casa Erica and also enjoy all other amenities. The total price for two weeks in a double room is € 350.

For what am I paying?

Most volunteering opportunities are based on an exchange of work and free living and/or food. We have decided, that we want our Karma Yogis to enjoy their time here and of course let them participate in the daily yoga classes. To guarantee that we want you to work a maximum of 4 hours/day.

You should be ok with getting up early (sometimes around 6.30h).

Plant- based Chef_

Seasonal: May and June // September and October


At Yoga Spirit Circle we are looking for plant-based culinary professionals with a background in diversified ethnic cooking. Our menu often contains a wide variety of ingredients and also authentic vegan recipes from The Mediterranean, Middle Eastern, Indian, and South American cuisines. We love to indulge our guests in aromas, colors, textures, and tastes from around the world – healthy, flavorful, colorful, and tasty.
Everything is cooked from scratch using fresh and unprocessed ingredients.
Our culinary team members need to have a very good understanding of vegetables – the texture, the nutritional benefits, the availability, the palatable compatibility. They should be willing to experiment with and at the same time understand and adopt ethnic vegan recipes.

Job responsibilities


  • preparing and presenting delicious meals for 18- 23 people
  • being willing to interact with guests regarding food topics
  • teaching a workshop once per week (optional)
  • catering to gluten-free diets
  • managing volunteers in the kitchen

    Daily working time is around 8- 9 hours with 1,5 days off every week. Typically the day begins at 8am with Breakfast prep, followed by Lunch prep and ends with plating Dinner and Dessert at 7.30pm, with breaks after Breakfast and after Lunch.

    An Assistant Chef is available to help about 4 hours per day. There is always one kitchen help to help with cutting and cleaning up. Dishes after meals will be taken care off by other staff.
