ABOUT THE YOGA

Being here now is a big challenge in todays modern world. While it’s advice we hear often, feeling it for ourselves is rare. During this week, we will show you how.

When we slow down and take time in nature our own true nature begins to reveal itself and instead of seeming like empty words being here now will take on new meaning. In this setting you will not need to worry about your wellness or where to find your centre because it will find you!

Using daily asana practice, conscious breath and meditation, we’ll look together and listen alone as we learn how to live in the moment and ease our way into a new experience of life that is free from the past and unencumbered by worries of the future.

During this retreat week movement expert Ava will provide you with valueable tools to help you let go, connect with your body and re-discover your mind, away from all the thoughts and stories that keep you pre-occupied.

The Yoga practice will include elements from Vinyasa, Hatha and Yin, varying in intensity to help you build focus, flexibility and fearlessness. Plus, you will also have the chance to join optional strength training, HIIT workout sessions or group runs in nature, to add a different dimension to your retreat experience.

This week is available to everyone, with no previous experience necessary, as Ava will gently guide you through a powerful but accessible practice.

On this retreat you will find the freedom and joy that arises from living in the present moment. What are you waiting for?

Ava Carstens

Vinyasa Yoga Teacher &
Creative Mind

"It's important to me that physical activity is not just a MUST in life, but that it becomes an indispensable positive pillar of life!”

Ava Carstens lives and works in Hamburg. She is a co-founder of Kollektiv49 and if she does not advise, design and implement as a creative director, her focus is on yoga. Ava shares her movement practice in various workshops and events. With diverse music, her voice and the words for new, different or perhaps forgotten ideas, she creates a safe space with plenty of room for playful experimentation. Yoga, very much in the here and now, without dogmas and dictation.
