Blending the wisdom of yoga, Pilates, Western medicine, and journaling, this retreat thoughtfully weaves together East and West, ancient practices and modern knowledge — all with the intention of guiding you toward inner stability, physically, emotionally, and spiritually.
Each morning begins with an energizing Pilates session designed to strengthen your core, improve posture, and enhance mobility.
In the afternoons, we’ll shift into gentle yoga and guided journaling. These practices invite you to explore how movement, breath, and nervous system regulation nurture inner steadiness. Journaling will support you in releasing stress, gaining new perspectives, and resourcing yourself in life’s more complex moments. Paired with mindful movement, writing becomes a bridge between body — which speaks in sensations and feelings — and mind, which expresses through words.
Together, we’ll discover the steady anchor within, cultivate a sense of being supported from the inside out, and leave with practical tools to carry your practice beyond the mat and into everyday life.
Ariel Hayun
People often describe me as authentic, passionate, consistent and precise. I love nerding out about technique while offering each person the variations and tools that are optimal for them in that moment, so that everyone feels held and at ease, and able to experience the joy within.
I care that the practice brings you closer to yourself. To me, movement is a gateway to our body and spirit. Whether you connect more to Yoga, Pilates or dance, any movement- even just the movement of a breath- is an opportunity to unify body, mind and soul.
I’m trained as a professional dancer, Pilates teacher (BASI Pilates, 2016), Yoga Nashit teacher- Yoga for women* (2025), and Pelvic Portal Method teacher (2026). Since 2022, I’ve been busy with The Pelvis Knows, a movement research focus on knowledge carried in our Pelvis. Centering on dances in which the pelvis is the protagonist- mainly Twerk, Belly Dance, and Pelvic Portal Method- the research examined how moving the pelvis can be a source of empowerment, physical & mental health, expression and knowledge.
