About this day in detail
This weekend-retreat in Berlin offers a unique opportunity to get in touch with the need for inner stillness and belonging that we all carry within us, but also to stroll around and enjoy all what Berlin has to offer. A city trip with a little bit more zen.
The workshops will take place in a beautiful Buddhist Center in Berlin- Friedrichshain in a beautiful room reserved just for us and with a beautiful outside area! Friedrichshain is one of the most interesting neighbor hoods of Berlin. The former East Berlin district is a vibrant and urban destination for tourists as well as for locals. Colorful streets with lots of creative restaurants, indie boutiques, street art, the Sunday flea market, lively parks and all those colorful people creating a very unique vibe.
About the instructor
MAREILLE completed her 200 hours TT with David Lurey in Brazil in 2012. In addition, she learned the magic of the practice of Yin Yoga and Thai Yoga Massage to know that she uses as a perfect companion to her yoga practice. Mareille’s classes are a nice blend of Hatha Yoga, Vinyasa Yoga and Yin. We will learn to respect our boundaries and accept, as we listen to the rhythm of our breath. Mareille is a very accessible teacher. It is easy to follow. Your classes are suitable for all levels.
Mareille has worked in many different surf camps in Spain and Morocco. But at the moment she is mainly in Amsterdam, her hometown, where she teaches. For more information about Mareille please see her website.
The language of instruction will be English, but Mareille also speaks Dutch and a little German.
Where to stay in Berlin
We recommend to book an accommodation in Friedrichshain, Kreuzberg or Prenzlauer Berg to make sure you have a short way to the Workshop Location. There are many lovely Airbnb’s in that area as well as the budget hostel Industrie Palast or the super hip Michelberger Hotel.
