Our signature Yoga and Culinary Retreat, this time with Yvonne and Roxy, is your chance to dive into a week of learning, expressing and unwinding.

We will start our days with different ways of movement, imagine a meditation walk or an energetic dance session just before the yoga practice in the open sky yoga shala. The afternoon classes are usually held in workshop style.

Roxy's yoga style fuses influences of Vinyasa, Hatha, & Yin. A cohesive practice that will charge & strengthen your body & mind, as well as put you it into a deep state of relaxation & healing.


When you’re not on your yoga mat, you are invited to join the series of culinary workshops that are unique to the YOGA & PLANT BASED COOKING RETREATS. Sasha and Yvonne will share their passion for fresh-fusion, vegan cuisine and being creative in the kitchen.

On this Retreat you’ll learn how to get started with plant based cooking, prepare a delicious meal and make raw vegan desserts, as well as being inspired by the dishes you indulge in every meal time.

We invite you to a week of fueling your creative juices & exploring several outlets of expression. No extensive knowledge or level of yoga is necessary for this retreat. You will cover basics from day one to ensure that you are getting the most out of the whole experience. Expect to play, to dance, to learn, to be taken out of your comfort zone & explore different sides of yourself. Also expect nights of soothing sounds, yin yoga, & yoga Nidra.

Welcome to the YSC Kitchen

Good food is very important to us! We want to spoil and inspire you! In the last years we worked intensely on our culinary development. Passion and high standards are the main ingredients for our Retreat Menu.

For the first time we will open our kitchen doors to give you an introduction to the plant- based world and to prepare a bunch of hand- picked recipes with you.


1. Introduction to plant-based cooking

This first workshop of the week will give you a starting point for your plant- based kitchen adventures. We will talk about the benefits of a plant- based choices and I will show you my favorite tools and tricks. I will introduce you to ingredients which are fairly common in the vegan world and we will start of this week with delicious spreads, dips and pestos. Try them with our freshly baked buckwheat bread.

2. Raw Desserts

Desserts don’t have to be a guilty pleasure once you learn how to make raw desserts. They are nutrition rich, refined sugar and flour free, whole and real food which will make your heart and belly sing! You will be learning how to make quick and easy our infamous peanut butter cups, no- bake fudge as well as a raw cheese cake with a plenty of variation ideas. It would be a great time to ask question, mingle and be inspired by tasty treats.

3. Let's prepare dinner

Get involved in the making of a whole dinner menu. You will be able to cook this dinner at home and of course we will provide a recipe booklet.

All Workshops are demonstrations and some hands on participation. There will be plenty of deliciousness to try during the workshop or we will prepare dishes to enjoy afterwards all together. All ingredients are plant- based.

Roxy Caicedo

Vinyasa Flow Yoga Teacher

5 years of letting the wind and yoga world take her way it may, Roxy has found her niche and calling. She holds 500hr + certifications in Hot, Vinyasa, & Yin Yoga. From New York to India to Thailand to Berlin to Sweden & back to the States, she has recently opened up her own studio in New Jersey.

As your guide, Roxy provides a space for you to play, explore and create on & off your yoga matt. Roxys yoga style fuses influences of Vinyasa, Hatha, & Yin into a cohesive practice that will charge & strengthen your body & mind, as well as put you it into deep states of relaxation & healing.

Above all else, Roxy aims to help others. She truly believes Yoga can be of aid to anyone and everyone. With yoga and meditation she guides her students through self analysis without judgement. She creates a space where you are comfortable to be yourself, and feel good about it.
