Full Moon, Full Circle

Intermediate, 7 - 13 August 2022, In Sabina Italy

Like the moon as observed from earth, we experience our life in cycles. We begin something new, we expand within this new field of awareness, reach poornam – fullness, and then we begin a new cycle.

Each time we begin anew, we hopefully take with us some of what we have already learned from previous cycles. And gradually, the recurring fullness that we experience at the end of each cycle, is recognised as our true nature. Because just like the moon, we have alway been full, all that was required to see this was the light of consciousness – the full radiance of the sun shining on the moon, to be able to witness that consciousness.

During this retreat we will explore the way yoga practices awaken us to our full consciousness. And most importantly, how to harness this awareness in all of our relationships.

Each morning will start with chanting, meditation & pranayama, followed by a deep & purposeful asana practice. The afternoons will alternate between workshops and satsangs, to explore and discuss the physical, physiological and philosophical aspects of practice in more detail.

Level Intermediate: You should have a regular asana practice and expect dynamic, challenging classes.

about the place

It doesn’t seem possible that In Sabina is less than an hour’s drive from the crowded streets of Rome. With lush, abundant grounds of its own, along with a natural spring and a magnificent wooden yoga platform which overlooks the valley below, this is a truly magical place that’s ideal for spiritual practice, slowing down, and plunging oneself into nature.

In a nutshell, this is a retreat for anyone who wants to switch off the ‘noise’ and truly experience the joy of being alive.
There’ll also be plenty of time to visit the area’s tiny ancient villages, join in a ceramic workshop, and simply enjoy being our truest selves among like-minded souls.  Discover the location.
